Curry Auto Takes the LEED in Going Green
Curry Subaru-Hyundai, a member of 93-year-old Curry Auto- motive, announces the opening of its 30,000 square-foot LEED- registered car dealership in Cortlandt Manor. The area’s first green dealership opened for business June 4.
LEED registration provides independent, third party verifica- tion that a building, home, or community was designed and built according to these criteria: sustainable site development, water savings, energy efficiency, materials selection, and indoor environ- mental quality.
“Curry’s main goal was to create a sustainable, healthy, and comfortable building for both customers and employees,” said Bernard F. Curry, CEO, owner, and Rye resident. “By integrating sustainable design and energy efficiency with comfort, safety, utili- ty, durability, economy, and aesthetics, we were able to achieve that goal.”
Curry Subaru-Hyundai is located at 3040 Cortlandt Boule- vard. For additional information, call 930-3800 or visit www.cur- rysubaru.com or www.curryhyundai.com.
