Thank Heaven for Good Help

When we asked Shawn Callaghan-Diaz and Chris Cohan to “help” with the Home and Garden section, Shawn, an interior designer who worked at Ralph Lauren, said with her usual effervescence,“ Sure, this sounds like fun!” A few days later, she came to the office with a pile of possibilities and said, “I can’t believe you do this every day!” But Shawn loves a challenge and creating lasting beauty, so she sallied forth.

Chris, another good friend, who may be reconsidering our relationship after six years of being the Garden Editor of the special and years more of writing a regular column, presented us with so many articles and tidbits that we could have done a separate Garden section.

Without our local realtors, providing us with advertising at a dizzying pace, we might have mailed in an insert. But that wouldn’t have been any fun at all!

Sit back on an Adirondack chair and enjoy our tenth Home & Garden issue.
