Rye Neck High School rang in the holidays December 4 at Rye Presbyterian Church when they teamed up with the Westchester Choral Society (WCS) of an ecumenical holiday concert.
On the worldwide storytelling day, November 19, tales were told in 40 states and nine countries across six continents, from Miami to Mumbai, Perth to Peoria, Bangok to Rye.

While Livestrong addresses their physical, emotional, and practical concerns, the Y program fosters the well being of cancer survivors by refining the physical aspect.
The proposed Rye City School District School Bond, to be voted on December 13, has elicited an unprecedented amount of comment by residents, including numerous letters to this paper. The bond addresses overcapacity at the Rye High/Middle School campus, and will pay for 12 new science classrooms with current science labs converted into regular classroom space.
From the start of the 2012 budget discussions, the Rye City Council told the Rye Free Reading Room that its share of funding would be $1,080,000, the same as last year. As the Mayor and City Manager explained, revenues are down $2,000,000 from 2008 and every department is being held flat.
