Armed Robberies Reported Near Train Stations
Local police agencies are investigating armed robberies that have occurred in five Sound Shore communities in recent weeks: Pelham, New Rochelle, Larchmont, Mamaroneck, and most recently in Harrison.

I occasionally fantasize about traveling back in time, just briefly. My first stop would be the Saturday evening Salons held by siblings Gertrude and Leo Stein at 27 Rue de Fleurus in Paris, in the early years of the 20th century. Woody Allen’s recent film, “Midnight in Paris”, brought that time to life with the mix of writers, musicians, and artists who met and shared ideas in the Stein’s apartment.
