Rye Neck High School celebrated its 117th Commencement June 21. The football field was poised for all 102 graduates and their families. Manhattan College Pipes and Drums played the processional “Pomp and Circumstance,” and “Good Morning Westchester’s” Robert Marrone was this year’s keynote speaker.

In one of the last Board of Education meetings of the school year, the room was packed with middle school students, high school athletes, and parents, there to celebrate the winners of the district’s yearly Extra Mile awards. It was a picture-perfect day, last Saturday for the 81st annual Rye High School Graduation Ceremony. The Class of 2012 strode proudly across the bridge and to the field as the Rye High School Band performed “Pomp and Circumstance”.
