The following Rye residents graduated from Cornell University: Derek Creadore with a Bachelor of Science degree in Applied Economics and Management; Matthew Rowland with an A.B. degree in History; Abby Kohn with a Bachelor of Science degree in Hotel and Restaurant Administration; Danielle Hammer with a Bachelor of Science degree in Communication; and William Donnelly with a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial and Labor Relations.

Due to the record-breaking scorching heat on June 21, the Rye Neck High School graduation was moved indoors to the Performing Arts Center. Nevertheless, the Class of 2012 and their families sizzled with excitement, while additional guests were invited to view the ceremony on closed circuit television in the dining hall.
