What I miss most about a full nest is the kitchen door swinging open mid-afternoon followed by that familiar seagull call, “Mom, Mom” floating through the house and settling around me.

When Resurrection Grammar School students return to classes on September 5, they’ll be met by a new principal, Sister Anne Massell PBVM, and a new assistant principal, John Morash. Both of their predecessors, Harold Nielsen and George Pitula, retired at the end of the school year.
