While children are heading back to school, many also are baking up a community service plan. The Children’s Hope Chest is asking Rye-area youngsters to get involved in its first “Recipe for Hope” fundraiser. Mark Canno, who coaches golf and tennis at Rye Neck High School, said he expects as many as 50 booths will be set up locally to sell cookies, brownies, and cupcakes on September 22.
