The Holy Child cross-country team opened its season September 15, running against a dozen other teams at the Big Red Invitational in Somers. Holy Child finished in the middle of the pack, placing seventh with 186 points.

One of the most exciting things about School of the Holy Child is the pace at which the curriculum, especially the application of knowledge, has expanded in recent years. The school’s mission to send girls out in the world to do good work and be good at the work they do has dovetailed nicely with the Edward E. Ford Foundation’s goal of improving science education for girls.
We just moved to Rye for several reasons. One was we liked the community, but, most importantly, because our 13-year-old son had difficulty in our old neighborhood with a group of boys who bullied him.
