Rye's field hockey team took Nyack down Tuesday, advancing in Section 1 playoff competition. The final is Thursday against Lakeland.

The Rye Country Day field hockey team completed their regular season play in style, beating Millbrook at home, 1-0. Playoffs begin Sunday after postponements caused by Hurricane Sandy.
