With the arrival of spring, County Executive Robert P. Astorino issued the annual call for volunteers to join Pitch In for Parks, the County’s largest one-day spruce up of the parks, pathways, and nature centers, Sunday, April 14, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
For winter break this year, I joined a group of scouts from Rye Troop 2 for a week of scuba diving in the Florida Keys. It was an awesome way to earn a merit badge.
