RowAmericaRye begins its second fall season under new leadership.

The Garnets started off the season topping Nyack and Suffern in away games, and beat Ursuline 2-1 in their home opener September 9.

The 40-member team is comprised of swimmers not only from Rye High and Middle schools, but also from Rye Neck High.

The Garnets had an exciting opener against Eastchester at home September 5, avenging last season’s loss in the Sectional semi-final game.

With five returning players, including senior Co-Captains Daphne Mandell and Isabelle Brown as well as juniors Maria McEnroe and Jasmine Kitahara...

The Garnets had a rude awakening at their home opener against Horace Greeley on September 8.

Last year’s freshman and novice boats had strong showings and these rowers are expected to make a solid push into the JV and Varsity ranks.
