cleats-thRecently, Jake Katsikas was helping his dad organize their garage, and, by the time they had finished, Jake had lined up eight pairs of cleats that were still in top condition, but that he’d outgrown. “This got me thinking,” said the Rye High School sophomore. “If I had extra cleats lying around, I was sure others did as well.”

BB thThe Beauty Box is highlighting a great cause at a Cut-a-Thon benefiting the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society on March 6 from 10-4. Not only will stylists and colorists be volunteering their time, all services will be available at a discount. In addition, 100 percent of the proceeds will be donated in honor of Team Mateo, whose 4-year-old namesake was diagnosed with Pre-B Cell Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia.

Rye Squash Teams Hold Court at Squash Nationals

RHS-S-THRye Country Day Boys’ brought home a finalist trophy, Rye High School Boys’ claimed a pair of Classic Plate victories, and Rye High School Girls’ won the consolation playoffs in the 2016 U.S. High School Team Squash Championships in Philadelphia last weekend.
