Fay Ann Burkhart, Midland School Parent of the Year and Former Member of the TWIG, dies at 93

Fay Ann and Dick Burkhart were the parents of the year at the Midland School in 1976. She was an active member of the TWIG and Christ Church in Rye as well.

Police say they identified the suspect and believe the threat to the Rye YMCA was not credible. The suspect made the phone call from within the city, according to police.
