A Diamond Jubilee for the Carver Center
It was a shining night for the Carver Center, April 21, as it celebrated 75 years of service to the Port Chester community and honored three extraordinary volunteers.
The inaugural Sister Rosemary Sheehan Service Award was presented to Calvine Dunnan, Dinah Howland, and Irene Waddill. Sister Sheehan was a beloved lifetime board member of the Carver Center and a friend for over half a century.
Close to 500 guests were on hand to raise a glass to volunteers and staff, dine, and dance. So many gave generously through the silent and live auctions to ensure outstanding services and support for all those who walk through Carver’s doors.
