The “art” of friendship was on sparkling display at a Ladies’ Night Out at the Rye Arts Center last month. Over 150 women celebrated at “Bubbles, Baubles, and Bonbons,” which was a great companion piece to the Center’s “Geodes: Nature’s Art” exhibit.

Enjoying bubbly drinks, a shimmering presentation of geode-inspired jewels, handcrafted chocolates, and hors d’oeuvres, guests chatted and supported the arts.
“The Rye Arts Center exists to nurture creativity and transform the lives of all ages and backgrounds,” offered Board President Eileen Nieman. “While many think of the Arts Center primarily as a center for the visual and programming arts, we provide extensive arts education and outreach programming and scholarships to underserved neighboring communities and organizations.”
Executive Director Helen Gates added, “Geodes and jewels remind us that nature’s art is as powerful as anything man has made. Through the arts, all of our lives have added sparkle.”
The event was co-chaired by Ellen Boyle and Lynn Ingrassia.
