Scouts, veterans, local officials, students, and families gathered to pay tribute to those who serve and have served our country.
Suzanne Clary, President of the Jay Heritage Center, gave a memorable address on Rye’s long and extraordinary record of service.
After the ceremony, many residents walked to the Square House to visit the new and glorious exhibit, “Rye in World War II,” at which they learned about the soldiers whose names grace the monument on City Hall.
