‘Twas a week before Christmas, and the Jay Heritage Center’s stocking was more than filled. Guests helped them celebrate the season at the their festive Hearth and Earth Luncheon at American Yacht Club, and honored Michael Kovner, who received the 2014 Jay Heritage Preservation Award.
Speakers Alexa Hampton and Thomas Woltz shared their interior and landscape design visions that have been an inspiration for the continuing efforts to restore the extensive Jay House and its gardens and grounds to their original splendor.
Proceeds from the event will benefit a wide range of educational programs in American History, Architecture, Archaeology, Social Justice and Environmental Stewardship.
