The Rye library’s Community Meeting Room was filled with excited tweens the night of June 14. No, Justin Bieber wasn’t in town, but author and columnist Annabel Monaghan was, and she was just as big a hit.
The Rye library’s Community Meeting Room was filled with excited tweens the night of June 14. No, Justin Bieber wasn’t in town, but author and columnist Annabel Monaghan was, and she was just as big a hit.
Monaghan, a Rye resident, was at the library to talk about and sign copies of her new YA novel, “A Girl Named Digit”. It’s already being hailed as a cross between “Clueless” and “The Da Vinci Code”. Close to 200 copies were sold that night, according to Patrick Corcoran of Arcade Booksellers.
If the library event is any indication, we’ve got a rock star of an author on our hands.
