The last piece of furniture, a row of connected pods used for quiet solo studying, arrived on campus on Feb. 21.
The mural will debut on May 31 and reflect a new theme, which will remain a mystery until then.
“The Skinny House,” built in 1932 at 175 Grand St. in Mamaroneck, still stands. It was placed on the National Register of Historic Places in April 2015.
The event was designed to highlight not only the nation’s declaring independence from Great Britain, but the role Rye residents played in the nation’s fight for that independence.
