Pump up those bicycle tires or dust off your running shoes. Bicycle Sundays begin on May 6 along a 6.5-mile stretch of the Bronx River Parkway.
The parkway closes to all motor vehicle traffic from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on May 6, 13, and 20; the first four Sundays in June; and the last four Sundays in September.
Walkers, strollers, roller bladders, and all non-motorized scooters are also welcome.
Entry is free from the White Plains County Center south to Scarsdale Road in Yonkers. Parking costs $5 at the County Center lot. For more details, go to Westchester.com/parks or call 864-PARK.
