Arroyo, 43, was linked to a multi-state manhunt in Las Vegas, Nev., and Carol Stream, Ill., for first-degree burglary and assault with a weapon charges, according to authorities.
The SUV was stolen in the Bronx on April 6, the same night it was left stranded in Rye. It remains unclear why the Durango was abandoned on Lavender Lane.
Police said Trusty drove off the road onto the yards of Rye homes while being chased by Westchester County and Rye police in a stolen Toyota Highlander.
