Rye Garden Club President Julia Burke presented the club’s Civic Improvement Commendation to the Department of Public Works and its staff at the July 11 City Council meeting. Accepting the award was City Engineer Ryan Coyne.
Burke cited DPW’s commitment to maintaining Rye’s natural beauty over many years by always being available to help water the organization’s plants in town. “We wanted to thank DPW and foster appreciation for our City’s unsung heroes,” said Burke.
