Two Rye residents were named to the Dean’s List at State University of New Paltz for the fall semester. Congratulations to Jake Swain and Emily Brown. Dean’s List designation is reserved for students who excel academically and earn at least a 3.3 grade-point average in a semester with a full-time course load.
Lindsey Noto was named to the Dean’s List at Hofstra University for the fall term. In order to achieve this recognition, a student must have a minimum 3.5 grade-point average.
Among the local students named to the Dean’s List at Tufts University for the fall semester were: Emma Chu, class of 2019; Steven Hefter, class of 2016; and Paget Stanco, class of 2016. Dean’s List honors at Tufts require a semester grade point average of 3.4 or greater.
Brenna Smith was named to the Dean’s List at Providence College for achieving a 3.55GPA. A member of the class of 2019, Brenna is majoring in Sociology.
