The Rye Fund for Education celebrated its Second Annual “Spark the Night” Gala on Thursday, April 4, at Westchester Country Club. More than 300 parents and community members attended to support RFE’s mission of enriching the educational experience for students in Rye City Schools.
“The overwhelming support from our community is not just heartwarming; it’s transformative for our schools.” said Danielle Kindler, a co-chairwoman of the event along with Whitney Whipple.
With a significant portion of the budget for Rye schools allocated to cover fixed costs, RFE’s fundraising efforts help enable educational projects that go beyond the scope of the schools’ operating budget.
