A poster of the Eiffel Tower in Christ’s Church Nursery magical block room inspired a two-week study of the City of Light. The 4- and 5-year-olds created a replica of the Tower, painting a backdrop to represent it, adorned with working lights, at night. The building project extended to a Parisian cafe, where croissants baked by the children were sold to passersby on the Rue du CCNS.
The problem-solving skills and critical thinking that went into this project are hallmarks of the Developmental Interactive Approach that defines the curriculum at the school.
