Dorothy Alice Graham passed away on November 1, 2017 after a long illness.
The youngest of six children of Irene and David Stewart, Dorothy was born at home in Butler, Pennsylvania, on September 25, 1933.
Her life’s work was her family, but she also had a career in business, first at Honce Furniture Store in Butler, Pa., then at Union Carbide N.Y., and subsequently at C. M. Almy & Son in Rye and Old Greenwich, Conn., where she was employed for 28 years.
She was a member of the Pennsylvania Order of Eastern Star, Butler, Pa., American Yacht Club in Rye, and First Presbyterian Church, Griffin, Ga.
In addition to her loving husband of 64 years, Jim Graham, she is survived by her daughters, Jamie Graham of Atlanta, and Ruth Jackson of Sioux Falls, S.D.; her grandchildren, Sara Seals, Anna Greene, and Joshua Jackson; and her great-granddaughter, Savannah Seals.
A Memorial service was held November 6 in the Chapel of Conner-Westbury Funeral Home in Griffin, Ga.
