The family of Paul Daniel Koors grieves the passing of a beloved husband, father, and son on August 28, 2018. He died of sudden heart failure.
Born on December 5, 1979, in Irvington, New York, he was the son of Paul and Patricia Koors.
After graduating from Hackley School, he attended Bucknell University and graduated from Brooklyn College before going to medical school at The Medical College of Virginia in Richmond. He completed his residency in Otolaryngology, Head and Neck Surgery, at the University of Virginia in 2017. Dr. Koors was currently practicing in Danbury, Connecticut.
In 2008, he married Elizabeth Kueffner, and they enjoyed ten wonderful years together, shared with their much-adored children, Ellie (age 9) and James (age 7). In addition to his wife, children, and parents, he is survived by a host of friends and relatives who loved him dearly. He was the nephew of Teresa (McQuade) and Tony Kao of Rye, and Mary and Jerry Saviola of New Rochelle. He was the cousin of Matthew Kao of Rye, and Gerard and Jesse Saviola of New Rochelle.
A celebration of his life was held September 8 at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church in Fairfield.
