Rye voters will hit the polls on Saturday for the start of early voting, with a big mayoral and City Council election in tow.
Voters will choose between two mayoral candidates with the backing of the local political parties — and their respective council slates — and one candidate running as an independent. There are four open seats this election, meaning voters can choose any combination of candidates to vote for.
On the county level, Rye voters will also cast their ballots for county executive, county legislator, county clerk, and more.
So let’s get into it.
