Edith Read invites visitors to celebrate fall on October 11, 12-5 p.m. Nestled behind Playland between the Long Island Sound and Playland Lake, this 179-acre Westchester County park offers wooded trails, glorious views, and a visitor center. The festival lineup includes a birds of prey demonstration and hands-on animal programs along with live music, food trucks, pumpkin patch, edible bug bar, face painting, storytelling, scavenger hunt, cowboy cooking, and unique DIY crafts.
