Kujtim Nicaj, 44, who pled guilty in October to charges of sexual misconduct and sexually motivated burglary at Rye Colony Cooperative Apartments, was sentenced at Westchester County Court on January 15 to 6½ years in prison.

The one count of Burglary in the Second Degree as a Sexually Motivated Felony is a class “C” Felony; while the one count of Sexual Misconduct is a class “A” Misdemeanor.
The former Rye Colony resident superintendent was recorded on a tenant’s nannycam illegally entering their apartment to perform sex acts with a 15-month-old Labrador Retriever.
After viewing the tape, the Rye Police Department questioned, then arrested Nicaj on February 9, 2012.
After completion of his prison sentence, Nicaj must register as a sex offender under the New York State Offender Registry Act.
