The Federated Conservationists of Westchester County couldn’t have picked a better location for their annual meeting — the Edith G. Read Wildlife Sanctuary in Rye. The event will be held Thursday, June 14, from 4:30-7:30 p.m.
The Federated Conservationists of Westchester County couldn’t have picked a better location for their annual meeting — the Edith G. Read Wildlife Sanctuary in Rye. The event will be held Thursday, June 14, from 4:30-7:30 p.m. Guests will be treated to a tour of the grounds by Jason Klein from 4:30-5 p.m. Following a short business meeting to re-elect board members, Green Seal and Edith Read awards will be presented to State Senator Suzi Oppenheimer, journalist Greg Clary, and the White Plains Youth Bureau Greening Project.
A picnic supper is included in the registration fee of $25; student fee is $15. All members and friends are cordially invited and can register (by June 11) by calling the FCWC office at 422-4053 or logging on www.fcwc.org/ events.
