On the Fourth of July, playing in the Red, White and Blue (and dressed appropriately for the occasion) tournament at Apawamis Club, Dr. Robert Gonzales-Molina, known as Gonzo by his friends, had his first-ever hole in one on the fifth hole.
Dr. Gonzo, a well-known local dentist, drilled a pitching wedge perfectly into the cup, landing with his nickname on the ball looking back up at him.
What a great way to celebrate the holiday.
