In the five years that Miriam’s Attic, the Resale Shop at The Osborn, has been open, it has garnered rave reviews for the quality and breadth of its merchandise. One of its fans, Robina Wolfson, was the lucky winner of the shop’s gift of a floral display, donated by Greene Willow of Rye.
Miriam’s Attic is managed by Sandra Iannucci who worked previously at the Greenwich Thrift Shop and has a background as a computer programmer. A woman of diverse interests, Sandra has a discerning eye for what shoppers are looking for.
The shop features quality furniture and household items, artwork, women’s jewelry, scarves, handbags, and much more. It is open Tuesdays and Fridays from 10-4:30, and some summer Saturdays. Proceeds benefit The Osborn’s Charity Care Program which provides care to those who move to The Osborn with little or no ability to pay for their stay, those who have outlived their resources due to illness or advanced age, and people living in their own homes in Westchester with little or no ability to pay for home care from Osborn Home Care.
