Two students from Rye, Marissa Licursi and Jacqueline Thomas, graduated from Convent of the Sacred Heart in Greenwich last month.
Two students from Rye, Marissa Licursi and Jacqueline Thomas, graduated from Convent of the Sacred Heart in Greenwich last month. Licursi was a National Merit Commended Student, a member of the Cum Laude Society, and graduated with High Honor. Thomas graduated with Honor and distinguished herself as part of the award-winning broadcast journalism team at Sacred Heart.
Sarah Elizabeth Nye was among 521 graduates awarded diplomas at Denison University’s 173rd commencement. Nye majored in Communications and minored in English, with a concentration in Writing. She studied abroad with the Advanced Studies in England Program in the United Kingdom.
Brooke Smokler of Purchase graduated from the University of Rhode Island. She received a Bachelor of Arts in Communication Studies.
Robert Santangelo graduated from Union College in Schenectady last month. He majored in Economics.

Christopher McCree graduated summa cum laude with a B.S. in Business Administration in Management. The Hackley School graduate was a member of Delta Mu Delta national honor society. Christopher Murphy earned a B.S. in Business Administration in Accounting. The Rye High School grad was named to the Dean’s List for the spring semester.
Kirk Holmes graduated from the University of Hartford’s Hillyer College with an associate’s degree in Liberal Studies.
Four local students graduated from Lafayette College in Easton, Pennsylvania. Jessica Cysner earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Neuroscience with honors. Axel Calmet earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics and Business. Karly FitzGerald double majored in Economics/Policy Studies. Niamh Walsh received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics.
Brendan Eggers received an undergraduate degree from Wittenberg University in Springfield, Ohio.
Five students from Rye graduated from Wake Forest University in Winston- Salem, North Carolina. Congratulations to Joseph Barber, Sophie Kacha, Eleanor Smith, Jake Sternberg, and Harrison Waddill.
Daniel Forsman graduated with a degree in Biology from Colby College in Waterville, Maine. The Rye High graduate was also named to the Dean’s List for achieving a GPA of at least 3.7.
Benjamin Chwick of Purchase graduated from Colby College. He majored in Economics with a concentration in financial markets.
