The grant is part of Governor Cuomo’s $82.8 million Mid-Hudson Regional Economic Development Initiative recently announced by the governor and The Business Council of Westchester. The Mid-Hudson Region was given the highest amount of the ten regional councils in a competitive funding process.
Jay Heritage Center’s funding will be use to rehabilitate 1.5 acres of centuries-old stone walls, rebuild the 100-foot-long arbor, and replant native trees, shrubs, herbs, and flowers.
