His favorite place in the world was Lake George, N.Y., where he spent countless hours with his children and grandchildren boating, camping, and enjoying the beauty of the lake.
His daughters Betsy, Sharon, and Kristen said, “Our father will be lovingly remembered for his great intellect, wisdom, and sense of humor. Above all, he was a great dad.”
In addition to his children, Mr. DeFilippo is survived by his grandchildren: Alexandra, Samantha, Nicholas, Georgia, Olivia (Clare), and Kathryn; his sister, Jeanne and brother-in-law, Richard (Scotty). He was preceded in death by his brother, George.
