Rye, N.Y. (Sept 7, 2021) — Julia B. Fee Sotheby’s International Realty announced today that the firm’s Rye brokerage hosted a virtual fund-raiser in support of My Sisters’ Place, a Westchester County-based organization that works to fight domestic violence. The online event raised over $30,000 for My Sisters’ Place.
The company has worked to support My Sisters’ Place for eight years now, helping to make a difference for many individuals throughout the Westchester County area. This year’s event surpassed the total funds raised in 2020.
In prior years, the fund-raiser was held in the form of the annual “A Taste of Rye” restaurant crawl, but agents raised funds virtually this year due to the pandemic. The company hopes to bring back the in-person event in 2022.
All funds raised will go directly to My Sisters’ Place in support of its efforts to end domestic violence by helping victims while focusing on community education and prevention. The organization also combats human trafficking throughout Westchester County, and offers advocacy, shelter and legal services to those in need.
