The intricate and whimsical paper sculptures of Irving Harper will be shown in a solo exhibit at the Rye Arts Center this fall. Harper, a Rye resident, who celebrated his 98th birthday on July 14 with friends from the Center, is the mid-century genius behind such iconic designs as the Ball Clock, the Sunburst Clock, and the Marshmallow Sofa.
