Van Wagenen — MacKenzie
Bert and Tina Van Wagenen of Rye are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Charlotte, to Scott MacKenzie, son of Budd and Randy MacKenzie of Lafayette, California.
The future bride graduated from Rye High School in 2004 and Williams College in 2008 with a B.A. in Economics. She is an Associate in the Marketing Group at GSO Capital Partners in New York City.
The future groom graduated from Acalanes High School in 2002 and Williams College in 2006 with a B.A. in Economics. He is a Research Analyst at Guggenheim Partners.
A June 2014 wedding is planned.
Kantarian — Fuchs
Mr. and Mrs. Arlen Kantarian of Rye announce the engagement of their daughter, Jessica, to Adam Fuchs, son of Mr. and Mrs. Marc Fuchs of Hillsdale, New Jersey.
The future bride is a graduate of Rye High School and the University of Delaware. She is employed by CBS Television Network.
The future groom graduated with a B.S. from Miami University’s Richard T. Farmer School of Business and is presently a Senior Associate of KPS Capital Partners, LP.
The two met in October 2008, while living in Manhattan.
A wedding is planned for July of next year in Newport, Rhode Island.
Marantz — Hoffman
Mr. and Mrs. Alan Marantz of Harrison, New York announce the engagement of their daughter, Molly Rose, to Zachary Peter Hoffman, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Kent Hoffman of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
The future bride attended The International School of the Sacred Heart in Tokyo, Japan, and The Convent of the Sacred Heart in Greenwich, and graduated from Rye High School in 2007. She went on to Southern Methodist University in Dallas, from which she received a degree in Advertising in 2011. She works in the athletic business, specializing in Power Yoga teaching in Dallas.
The future groom graduated from The Casady School in Oklahoma City in 2006, and from Southern Methodist University, with a degree in History, in 2010. He is currently an Associate at Hudson Advisors Lone Star Funds, a global private equity firm in Dallas.
The couple began their courtship in 2009 when they both were studying at the University of Oxford in Oxford, England.
A February 2014 wedding in New York City is planned.
