Goodenough — Kantarian
Kathryn Louise Goodenough and Brian Haig Kantarian were married September 7 at Rye Presbyterian Church. Reverend Daniel H. Love officiated. A reception followed at The Belle Haven Club in Greenwich.
The bride is a daughter of Andrew and Susan Goodenough of Rye. She works at Siguler Guff & Company, a Manhattan-based private equity firm, where she focuses on public and investor relations.
She graduated from the University of Virginia.
The groom is the son of Arlen and Ann Kantarian, also of Rye. He works in J.P. Morgan’s Private Bank, where he provides financing solutions to professional sports teams and their owners. He graduated from Georgetown University and received an MBA from the Leonard N. Stern School of Business at New York University.
The bride and groom both grew up in Rye and graduated from Rye High School.
Following a honeymoon in French Polynesia, the couple returned to their home in Manhattan.
Buckley — Nace
Elizabeth Buckley and Christopher Nace were married on May 18 at the Church of the Resurrection. Monsignor Edward O’Donnell and Reverend Daniel O’Reilly officiated at the ceremony.
The bride graduated from School of the Holy Child in 2004 and Miami University, Ohio in 2008. She works as a recruiter for J.Crew in New York City. She is the daughter of Jim and Fran Buckley of Rye.
The groom is a graduate of Chaminade High School in Mineola, New York, and the College of the Holy Cross in 2006. He is the son of Jean and Robert Nace of Huntington, N.Y. He is a Vice President of Executive Search for Connections of New York, a technology search firm.
The couple met at Connections of New York, where Elizabeth worked prior to joining J.Crew.
The bride’s three sisters, Ellen, Katy, and Molly, were in the bridal party, along with Kristine Mackenzie and Alex Messiter, friends from Holy Child. Four of her nieces served as flower girls, one nephew as the ring bearer and her oldest nephew escorted her mother down the aisle.
After honeymooning in Bermuda, the couple returned to their home in New York City.
Ferris — Tomaselli
Danielle Ferris, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Richard Ferris of Rye, was married to Vincent Tomaselli, son of Mr. and Mrs. Christopher Mosca of Palm Beach, Florida and Mr. Robert Tomaselli of Congers, N.Y., on September 21.
The bride is a graduate of Rye High School and Mercy College, where she earned a Master’s degree, magna cum laude, in early childhood and special education. She teaches at Bedford Road Elementary School in Pleasantville.
The groom is a graduate of Lakeland High School and The Chubb Institute. He works as an information technology solutions specialist in Manhattan.
Attendants for the bride were her two sisters, Daina and Alyssa Ferris, co-maids of honor, dear friends Marcella Bonaiuto, Brittany Baillie, and Megan Maxwell, and Samantha and Bianca Mosca, cousins of the groom.
Groomsmen were Keith Maxwell, the best man, Christopher Ferris, brother of the bride, and best friends Thomas Dierking, Mike Galiani, Peter Donato, Eddie Schroeder, Giancarlo Cuniberti, and Kevin Amodio.
The honorable Judge Joseph Latwin, a close friend of the family, presided. Over two hundred beloved friends and family members shared in a beautiful celebration on the beach in New Rochelle.
The couple met in 2008, while watching a Giants/Jets game at Finnegan’s in Pleasantville. The bride is a Giants fan, the groom a Jets fan. A sense of humor is the tie that binds; the welcome mat outside their front door reads, “a house divided”, sporting the Giants on one side, the Jets on the other.
Following a short trip to Napa Valley, the newlyweds returned to their home in Cortlandt Manor and their boxer puppy, Cali. They are planning a longer wedding trip next summer.
