Terry — Rees
Jeb and Helen Terry of Dallas, Texas are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Avril Adriana, to W. Trevor Rees, son of Mason and Nancy Rees of Rye.
The couple met in the fall of 2009 in Chapel Hill, North Carolina.
The bride-to-be graduated from Highland Park High School in Dallas and from Texas Tech University. She works at MacAndrews & Forbes in New York City.
The future groom graduated from the Brunswick School in Greenwich, Connecticut, and from Yale University. He received his MBA from the University of North Carolina in Chapel Hill. He currently works at Sard Verbinnen & Company in New York City.
A March 2013 wedding is planned in Dallas.

Kindler —Tisdale
Emily Pickert Kindler and Robert Stuart Tisdale were married Saturday, September 22 at Rye Presbyterian Church in Rye. The Reverend Daniel Love performed the ceremony. A reception followed at Apawamis Club.
Mrs. Tisdale is an independent comedy producer. She graduated magna cum laude from Colgate University. She also received a J.D. from New York University School of Law in 2009.
The bride is the daughter of Pamela P. Kindler of Rye, and Robert A. Kindler of Harrison. The bride’s father is Vice Chairman of Morgan Stanley.
Mr. Tisdale is an Emmy-nominated writer. He is also an actor and comedian.
The groom is the son of Robert and Claudia Tisdale of Elkin, North Carolina. His mother is a retired social worker and his father is an artist.
The couple met in February 2008 at “Invite Them Up”, a comedy show that he was hosting in Manhattan’s East Village.
Oh How Proudly They Serve
Christian Michael Stuebe was commissioned a Second Lieutenant in the United States Marine Corps August 10 in Quantico, Virginia. He is now choosing his specialty at The Basic School in Quantico.
Stuebe attended Resurrection Grammar and Brunswick schools and graduated from the University of Colorado at Boulder.
At the Marine Corps graduation, the speaker was Defense Secretary Leon Panetta, who is pictured with the four Stuebe brothers: Max, 19; Nicholas 23; Riley, 28, and also a Second Lieutenant in the Marines; and Christian, 25.
Births
Andrea Hooper Robert and Jackson Robert announce the birth of a son, Aidan Pearse Robert, August 9 at Greenwich Hospital. He weighed 8 pounds, 13 ounces and was 20.5 inches long. He joins his sister, Hanna, who is almost 2.
His maternal grandparents are Jill and Peter Hooper, former Rye residents who now live in White Plains. His paternal grandparents are Marie Blain and Paul Jacques Robert, of Florida and Georgia, respectively. His godparents are Lisa Hooper of Rye and Norbert Ryan of Manhattan.
Stacy and Edwin Gonzalez announce the birth of a daughter, Saralina Jean Gonzalez, August 16 at White Plains Hospital Center. She weighed 7 pounds, 4 ounces. She joins sister Gabriella, 2.
Her maternal grandparents, William and Francine Klingenstein, live in Purchase. Her paternal grandparents, Pedro and Lina Gonzalez, reside in Cali, Colombia.
