the annual East-West New England Prep School Athletic Conference (NEPSAC) All-Star Game. She is Holy Child’s first varsity basketball player to receive this honor.
Hosted March 4 by the Nobel and Greenough School in Dedham, Massachusetts, the game brings together those who are considered to be the best players in New England, as selected by a broad group of NEPSAC member coaches.
“It is wonderful that Shannon’s hard work and success has been recognized. She improved her speed, strength, and shooting this season, which paid off tremendously,” said Director of Athletics John Pizzi.
So far this season, O’Connor compiled 33 assists, 52 steals, 58 blocks, 82 rebounds, and 176 points, helping to lead the Gryphon to a 15-6 regular season record.
