In case you haven’t heard, Westchester County this week announced plans to open Playland on Memorial Day Weekend, but officials have admitted that they don’t know if all the park’s rides will be up and running by then.
Plus, the Rye High softball squad broke ground on their new and improved field – which boasts a high backstop with netting, fully enclosed home and away dugouts, foul poles, two sets of bleachers, and soon to come, a scoreboard.
