In this episode, we dive into Rye’s decades-old comprehensive development plan.
It’s well-documented that the plan hasn’t been updated since 1985, but a Rye Record analysis found it is also the second-oldest plan in all of Westchester’s 40-plus communities.
Plus, the Rye girls and boys basketball squads came out victorious over the weekend — and RHS alumni remember the time civil rights activist and two-time Democratic presidential candidate Jesse Jackson came to speak at the school in the 80s.
This episode was edited and produced by Camille Botello, with reporting help from Steven Kearney and David Hessekiel.
