5/21: Duct Ragu. Purchase Street complainant stated there was unusual amount of noise coming from rear of Rafele’s restaurant, keeping her from sleeping, 12:30 a.m. Cleaning company on scene cleaning ducts. Said they would keep noise to minimum and finish.
5/21: Brown out. Complainant stated unknown persons tampered with two rear porch lights. Requested extra patrol on Brown Avenue.
5/21: Caller reported box truck idling for more than 3 minutes, fumes were going into her apartment, Purdy Avenue/First Street, 7:47 a.m.
5/20: Caller reported flashing light atop Apawamis Club. Checked exterior, interior, spoke with night watchman, nothing unusual. He agreed to speak with groundskeeper in mooring about the blinking light.
5/20: Theodore Fremd caller stated there were multiple leaf blowers being used in area. GOA.
5/20: Assisted in clearing Kirby Lane North circle area due to I-95 blasting.
5/20: Caller stated commercial truck drove onto sidewalk near Apawamis/Midland avenues. May have hit someone riding a bike.
5/20: Hit-and-run. Vehicle parked on Second Street by Station Plaza, hit by another unknown vehicle causing damage to trunk. No note.
5/19: Caller reported disoriented elderly male pushing cart along sidewalk, Glendale Road/Locust Avenue. Gentleman walking to Greenwood Union Cemetery.
5/19: Fairlawn Street caller stated an injured raccoon was walking in front of her property. Baby raccoon got away from its mother, advised homeowner to leave it alone and call Jill (Doornick).
5/19: Fake news. Hill Street caller reported group of young girls were running around in the street in and out of traffic, causing dangerous condition. Spoke to parents who stated girls were only crossing street.
5/19: BPR homeowner stated she was not home but housekeeper came to clean and found apparent break-in on top-floor apartment, dirty boot prints on floor.
5/19: X marked the spot. Report of people having sex in open area, Rye Town Park. Canvassed area, negative results.
5/19: Multiple vehicles reported illegally parked, Forest/Rye Beach avenues, 5:48 p.m. Summonses issued.
5/18: Park Avenue caller stated there was loud party next door, possibly drinking, 12:35 a.m. Radio playing by pool. Spoke to resident, advised to shut it down for night.
5/18: Construction before 8 a.m., Colby Avenue. Advised crew of 10 a.m. start time. Warning issued.
5/18: Theall Road complainant stated male/female were having argument in parking lot, male struck her. Male in khaki pants, female in scrubs with green top.
5/18: Prime suspect. Caller reported drone use in Forest/Valleyview avenues area. Had issues in past, wanted officer to verify operators not doing anything untoward. Parties left scene prior to arrival, no drone observed.
5/18: Officers exposed to unknown substance bubbling up from ground with bad smell, Highland Road/Wappanocca Avenue.
5/18: Disorderly conduct, youths ringing doorbells. Complainant observed group run into Radcliffe Road residence. Spoke to father of one of boys, who said he would follow up with son.
5/17: Caller concerned about welfare of party who may be sleeping in Greenwood Union Cemetery. Party stated he was okay. Advised him to find another place to reside.
5/17: Curb appeal. Chestnut Street complainant stated person walking their dog let it defecate on grass without cleaning it up. Spoke with both parties, both went their own ways. Situation settled.
5/17: Caller stated there were items missing from his boat located in the back lot of Town Marina. Caller picked up statement form.
5/17: Water Moon employee reported intoxicated customer refused to leave restaurant that had closed thirty minutes prior. Party alert, oriented, refused medical assistance.
5/16: Resident reported money was taken out of his bank account without permission.
5/16: Nuts not served. Longford’s Ice Cream reported teenager on bike was being obnoxious, harassing customers. GOA.
5/15: Sunken excavation in road, BPR/Orchard Avenue caused flat tire. DPW notified, area coned-off.
5/15: Male with spikey hair, wearing maroon top, harassing women and asking them for sex in train station tunnel, 2 p.m.
5/14: Elm Place complainant stated she had fraudulent activity on a credit card, also had package scheduled for delivery to her residence for orders she did not make.
5/14: Eighteen-wheeler stuck on sidewalk/grass, creating damage to public property, Fireman’s Circle.
5/14: Once is enough. Yellow Lab with electric collar unable to get back on Drake Smith Lane property. Dog was observed sitting in driveway unable to pass through invisible fence. Homeowner’s son on scene, able to retrieve dog from neighbor’s yard.
5/13: Burglary. BPR caller stated she was in her basement, and when she came back upstairs she found her sliding door open.
5/12: Vehicle observed parked/occupied for over 15 mins. Was intoxicated female waiting for Uber. Car Park #2, 4 a.m.
