6/3: MVA, Car park 4, minor damage to vehicles, no injuries.
6/3: Go ahead, melt my day. City Code violation, ice cream truck idling, Osborn School, 3 p.m. Mister Softee driver advised of no-idling law.
6/3: Assisted other Police Departments, Grace Church Street and Midland Avenue. Highway blasting. Indeed.
6/3: Leaf blowers reported in use, Mendota Avenue. GOA.
6/3: Griffon Place caller stated phone she did not order was mailed to her address. After receiving package, male knocked on door attempting to claim package, then fled in new-style Infiniti SUV.
6/3: High Street caller stated gray Audi was blocking her driveway by Gagliardo Field parking lot.
6/3: Full court press. Hughes Avenue complainant wished for net that was on his side of street be placed on other side. Kids were shooting balls into his yard, wanted it to cease. Net moved.
6/3: Report of possible loud party with kids yelling, Stanley Keyes Court, 11:30 p.m. Youth referral.
6/2: Double-overtime. Group reported playing basketball at Rye Rec, 1:15 a.m. Parties left.
6/2: Theall Road caller reported several items missing from her apartment.
6/2: Eldridge Court caller stated male driving gray minivan with several stickers, driving southbound on US-1 chasing after distraught 9-year-old boy with no shoes on, yelling, “Get in the car or I’ll kill you.” Canvassed road to City line, unfounded.
6/2: Orchard Avenue resident stated sometime between 5/31 and 6/2 unknown person entered her home, removed items.
6/1: Florence Avenue caller wished to report parking issues with contractors working next door. Situation corrected.
6/1: Sackett Landing caller stated she was missing property from her vehicle.
6/1: Taxing situation. Anonymous Meadow Place caller stated two men were working on sewer line next door, no clear indication of who they worked for. Was WC-DPW crew.
6/1: Suspicious person, Oakland Beach Avenue. Stated he was homeless. Had been living on Wainwright Street.
6/1: Fire reported on Hen Island. Assisted RFD with transportation to open burn of shrubs and debris.
5/31: Caller stated she needed assistance locating her 10-year-old boy. Located at friend’s house, forgot to call his mom to let her know.
5/31: Vessel boardings, Milton Harbor. Boat one was operating at idle speed with two youths riding bow. Second vessel accelerated up to point where it made wake in no-wake zone. Warnings issued.
5/31: Caller stated DJ playing loud music, disturbing her peace in Mendota Avenue/Onondaga Street area. Parties advised to lower music.
5/30: Deer struck by vehicle, Locust Avenue, 12:07 p.m.
5/30: Cold cut. Tips reported stolen from deli tip jar, 382 Midland Avenue.
5/30: Central Avenue caller stated some kids were shooting BB or Airsoft gun. GOA.
5/29: Catch of the Day. Trespass of Real Property. Fisherman observed on rocks by Waters Edge stated he was going to remain on there until tide went down and he could walk out. Did not appear to be in danger.
5/28: Vehicle observed, parked with door wide open to the street, no one in sight, Davis Avenue, 1:25 a.m. Canvassed immediate area on foot, all appeared normal. Closed the door.
5/28: Male, dressed in black pants reported sitting on side of entrance ramp, Thruway Access Drive/Playland Parkway. Identified, no wants/no warrants. Transported to train station. Party stated he was headed to Boston.
5/28: Shady business. Two umbrellas were removed from poolside on Waters Edge property.
5/28: Party believed someone attempted to pry open a window of Preston Street property over weekend. Referred to Detective Division.
5/28: Caller reported suspicious green Mercedes pulled into her BPR driveway, then backed out. GOA.
5/28: Gotcha! Leaf blower in use, blowing debris into Franklin Avenue. Summons issued.
5/28: Caller reported suspicious black SUV parked in Osborn School side lot, 10:40 p.m. Party identified, sent on their way.
5/27: Overtime. Caller reported kids out playing basketball at Rye Rec, midnight. Warming issued, sent on their way.
5/27: Caller reported getting her credit card stuck in Car Park 4 pay station, requested assistance.
5/27: Illegally parked vehicles, Roosevelt Avenue/Sanford Street. Summonses issued.
5/27: Deer struck by motor vehicle, Barlow Lane/BPR, 5:50 p.m.
5/26: Vehicle reported parked with lights on for 20 minutes in Cedar Street lot corner spot, occupied by male and female, 1:48 a.m. Made contact with operator. Just conversing with female friend. All appeared in order.
5/26: Male in blue shorts possibly exposing himself in Playland Market parking lot. Caller did not leave his name. GOA.
5/26: Ship-shape. Several vessel boardings, Milton Harbor, no violations.
5/26: Suspicious persons. Males traveling on foot northbound on BPR. Caller observed them in School Street area attempting to enter unoccupied, parked vehicles. Parties identified, en route to Port Chester. Sent on their way.
