12/15 No “roasting on the open fire” this year. Walk-in made complaint about downstairs Chestnut Street neighbor.

 

12/14 Two tractor trailers reported blocking roadway at Five Points. Trucks on their way.

 

12/14 Disabled vehicle, BPR/I-287 exit ramp. Chevy Blazer with blown transmission.

 

12/14 Maple Avenue complainant stated her trash was not being picked up due to vehicles parked illegally. All vehicles were moved from street into work yard. Contractors warned.

 

12/14 Resident called to report suspicious incident that occurred at his place of work, where he heard third party make a threat of violence against him. Planned to file statement.

 

12/14 Unknown individual was operating chainsaw, Oakland Beach Avenue/Thorne Place, 7:03 a.m.

 

12/13 Reckless driving. Erratic driver reported, possibly under influence or some sort of duress, Forest/Green avenues, 10:25 p.m. Vehicle towed by Vincent’s.

 

12/13 “Second that emotion, da-da-da…” Loud party with music reported, Maple Avenue, 9:06 p.m. No violation witnessed, music at reasonable level, 9:21 p.m. Second noise complaint, 10:06 p.m. No noise heard, spoke to resident, vehicles were leaving area, 10:14 p.m.

 

12/13 Assisted State Police. MVA with injuries, I-95 South, 6:18 p.m.

 

12/13 Not the first time, nor the last. Disabled vehicle, Milton Circle. Operator hit curb. Negative DWI test. Vehicle towed by Hannigan’s.

 

12/13 “Had a very shiny nose.” Suspicious vehicle was traveling with spotlight covering front plate, Grace Church Street/Kirby Lane. Uber driver dropping fare. Warning issued.

 

12/13 Loud party, with female screaming on Ellsworth Street, 1:07 a.m. Small group was standing on corner waiting for Uber.

 

12/12 Foggy notion. Caller reported possibly disabled silver vehicle with elderly gentleman walking around in area of Glendale Road/Locust Avenue. Dangerous situation due to fog. Was in Harrison, HPD notified.

 

12/12 Caller reported City Code violation due to construction work, Forest Avenue, 9:30 a.m. Crew advised of Code.

 

12/12 City Code violation reported, construction work, Chamberlain Street, 8:19 a.m. Was dumpster delivery. GOA.

 

12/12 DWI, Locust/Theodore Fremd avenues, 7:12 a.m. Vehicle on sidewalk, towed by Vincent’s.

 

12/12 Just board, I guess. Complainant stated skateboarder was making too much noise, Rye Rec Skate Park, 1:48 a.m. Advised to leave area.

 

12/12 Loud party reported in area of Overlook Place/Dearborn Avenue, 12:19 a.m. Condition corrected, spoke to homeowner and music was turned down.

 

12/12 Caller reported suspicious silver 4-door sedan with youths in it, Roosevelt Avenue/Rosemere Street, 11:39 p.m. Canvassed area, GOA.

 

12/11 Deer reported injured on Playland Parkway, near BPR. Animal dispatched.

 

12/11 A loco motive? Kids reported trying to climb fence onto train tracks, Station Plaza. Was group of young photographers trying to take pictures of trains. Advised not to climb fence.

 

12/11 Insult to injuries. Criminal Vandalism to first aid station reported, Dearborn Avenue.

 

12/11 Refuse-ing to cooperate. DPW reported cars blocking Grace Church Street/Kirby Lane, preventing garbage truck from getting through. Ticketed several vehicles, one blocking roadway removed.

 

12/11 Larceny from motor vehicle. Stuyvesant Avenue caller reported she was watching unknown party attempting to gain entry into her car, 1:23 a.m.

 

12/10 Resident reported suspicious white male, approximately 6’1”, thin build, bald, wearing gray sweater in area of Soundview Avenue/BPR. Stated party was harassing him. Canvassed area multiple times with negative results. GOA.

 

12/10 Red him the riot act? Big red dump truck reported parked in front of Forest Avenue home, idling for three hours. Driver was asked to move truck to Redfield Street.

Residents continue to leave their vehicles unlocked, often with valuables inside. Car thieves are often armed, and it is dangerous to confront them; call RPD. Be aware that stolen vehicles are frequently used later for violent crimes. Save lives, lock up.

 

12/10 It’s a lock; they will return. Grapal Street resident reported her vehicle was entered overnight. She left it unlocked but nothing was stolen.

 

12/10 Five residents reported their vehicles were rummaged through overnight and left in disarray on Richard Place. Nothing was missing from any of them.

 

12/10 Grand larceny. Motor vehicle was reported stolen overnight on Grace Church Street.

 

12/10 Suspicious vehicle driving slowly around block, Glendale Road, 4:28 a.m.
