Stonehenge, Rock Garden from the Ancients by Michael Zotzman
By Michael Zotzman
Stonehenge, oh Stonehenge
Circle of stones,
Stonehenge, oh Stonehenge
Such megalith bones.
Gigantic … Enormous
But why are you there?
Hey, Stonehenge, say something
Cause we really care.
Like where did you come from?
And how were you made?
Mysterious Stonehenge
A plan better laid?
Sixty-one tons
And whaddya get?
Just one bloody stone
And a hernia schlep.
Vagabond aliens?
Celtics or Druids?
Who built you? Why build you?
If just to be view-ed.
You may be the ultimate
Celestial clock,
But I’ll stick with my Timex,
All plastic, nor rocks.
