Rye police arrested two people after a pair of break-ins along Boston Post Road early Tuesday morning. Burglaries were reported at Post Road Market, 1000 Boston Post Road, and at Rye Beverage, 967 Boston Post Road. The glass front door at Post Road Market was shattered; about $1,000 cash and $1,500 worth of cigarettes were reported stolen. An attempted burglary also was reported at Oakland Beach Deli. An alarm company signaled the break-in at the deli, 520 Milton Road, where front door glass also was broken, at 3:30 a.m. Tuesday.
